Mi sono reso conto ancora una volta che stare in mare non \u00e8 uno scherzo, chiedendomi se davvero ho voglia di fare questa vita cos\u00ec dura, che necessita attenzione costante, disciplina e responsabilit\u00e0, ma soprattutto capacit\u00e0 di prendere decisioni in breve tempo. Non si tratta di un lavoro tranquillo. Qui due mebri dell\u2019equipaggio hanno abbandonato la barca. Simon e Diego si sono sentiti molto male nel corso della prima tappa e sotto suggerimento\/ordine dello skipper hanno deciso di tornare a casa via terra. Questo evento ha rimesso in moto i dubbi sorti in navigazione e una certa nostalgia per casa, famiglia e amici. Io, Barry e Bruce ci siamo quindi trovati al comando e alla conduzione della barca per queste 160 miglia. Per fortuna il vento e le buone condizioni del mare ci hanno agevolato e abbiamo raggiunto Cagliari in 23h. I delfini mi hanno tenuto compagnia durante la notte. Da segnalare la cena a base di pesce, nella trattoria tipica <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lillicu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lillicu<\/a>,\u00a0 ottima e affollatissima nel centro storico di Cagliari. Il primo tratto \u00e8 stato tranquillissimo: su un mare assolutamente piatto (le stelle si specchiavano sulla superficie!), la propulsione del motore spingeva Seawolf\u00a0 e l\u2019autopilota manteneva la rotta. Domenica sono arrivati i temporali e il vento contrario a risvegliarci dal torpore e a metterci in agitazione.\u00a0 L\u2019ultimo tratto ero al timone , con 20 \/ 25 nodi di vento a favore che spingeva la barca a 8 nodi su un\u2019onda lunga che ci colpiva sulle mura di dritta fino all\u2019entrata del canale di Mah\u00f2n. Ho un p\u00f2 sofferto il comportamento capriccioso sull\u2019onda della Pronavia 38, barca rapidissima e aggressiva in regata ma che in quel frangente sembrava una saponetta impazzita. Ho rimpianto la solidit\u00e0 del Bicho sull\u2019onda, ma devo ammettere con soddisfazione che me la sono cavata bene.
